Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act)

DPDP Rules, 2025 (notified on 13 Nov 2025)

Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT (SPDI) Rules, 2011

Consumer Protection Act, 2019

We are building full compliance ahead of the May 2027 DPDP deadline.

3. What Data We Collect

Information you give us:

Name, email, phone number

Academic details (class, marks, interests, colleges)

Parent/guardian details (if shared)

Messages or queries

Pages visited, time spent, usage patterns

We do NOT collect:

Aadhaar, PAN (unless legally required)

Card/bank details (handled by payment providers)

Health or biometric data

We follow data minimisation under the DPDP Act.

As per the DPDP Act (purpose limitation), we use data only for:

As per DPDP Act:

Active accounts → as long as you use them

Deleted accounts → removed within 30 days

Support data → up to 12 months

Analytics → anonymised, up to 24 months

Financial records → up to 7 years (legal requirement)

All content on UniTracko is protected under:

You cannot copy, reuse, or sell it without permission.

18. No Guarantee Clause (Important)

UniTracko does NOT guarantee:

Admission to any college

Accuracy of all third-party data

Exam success

Career outcomes

Final decisions are made by institutions and authorities.

19. Third-Party Links

We may link to external sites (colleges, exams, govt portals).

We are not responsible for their content or policies.

20. Platform Availability

We try to ensure uptime, but:

Downtime may occur

Maintenance may happen

We are not liable for losses due to this.

21. Limitation of Liability

Under Indian law, we are not responsible for:

Decisions based on platform information

Missed deadlines or opportunities

Indirect or financial losses
