Quill Zone: student admission questions

Only BITS Pilani and its campuses (Goa, Hyderabad, Dubai) accept BITSAT scores. It's their own entrance exam, so you can only use it to apply there. BITS is a top private engineering college with great placements, so it's worth preparing for alongside JEE Main.

During BITSAT counselling, colleges aren't allotted through a centralized process like JEE Main. BITS handles admissions directly. once your merit list rank comes out, you'll get an admission offer from BITS Pilani if you qualify. You then accept it on their portal and complete enrollment. The allocation is based on your rank and the program you choose.

BITSAT is Birla Institute of Technology and Science's entrance exam for engineering and science programs. BITS Pilani is one of India's top private colleges, and BITSAT gives you direct admission there. Applications open in January, close in April, and the exam is in April or May.
