Quill Zone: student admission questions

You'll just need to accept the offer and complete the admission formalities on their portal, no separate counselling registration needed.

Counselling is what happens next. it's the process where you register your choices of colleges and programs, and seats get allocated based on your rank and preferences. So result comes first, then counselling uses that result to match you with a college.

JEE Main counselling is handled by the exam authorities and participating colleges after results come out. You register with your rank, choose your preferred colleges and branches in order of preference, and then get allotted a seat based on your rank, category, and choices. The exact process and timeline will be announced on the official JEE Main website once results are declared.
